Deploy Phase

Goal: In the Deploy Phase, we focus on completing the project and moving it into production. There are multiple rounds of Quality Assurance (QA), and any issues identified in QA are addressed.  Conversely, new changes to content and functionality are “locked down” until after the project launches. The client gives final approval and the project is launched. Fame and Fortune await!

Typical Activities and Deliverables:
  • Verify Metrics Tool
  • QA, Round 1 - as a general rule of thumb, QA should be at least 30% of the time spent on the Development Phase.
  • Issue Fixes, Round 1
  • QA, Round 2
  • Issue Fixes, Round 2
  • QA, Round 3
  • Issue Fixes, Round 3
  • Client Approval
  • Go Live: Launch Management
  • Postmortem and Lessons Learned - our goal is to continually improve. To that end, a postmortem -- where what went well and what did not gets discussed -- is an incredibly useful learning tool.
  • Post-launch Tweaks – a 30 day post-launch period, where the original build team is “on call” to address any issues that may arise.
  • Training
